A collaboration between New Amsterdam Presents and Kaufman Music Center, the acclaimed Ecstatic Music Festival® returns in 2019, bringing together composers and performers from different musical genres for six one-night-only performances featuring world premieres, new arrangements and the exclusive opportunity to hear artists discuss their work. Starting Jan. 7 and running through Mar. 21, 2019, the festival, hailed as “the alt-classical world’s main showcase” (The New York Times), will feature collaborations from wild Up, Zola Jesus, William Brittelle, Irreversible Entanglements, Amina Claudine Myers, Nicole Mitchell, Bang on a Can All-Stars, ETHEL, Face the Music, and Brooklyn Youth Chorus, with more to be announced.
