A companion piece to 2019's "arresting instrumental piece" "ASMR" (NPR's All Things Considered), "ASMR II" creates sublime walls of sound through ambient textures that combine post-rock and modern minimalism, and invites deep listening into undefinable soundworlds.

Matthew Evan Taylor has released the second installment of "The Unheard Mixtapes." Entitled "Language of the Unheard," these four tracks are an intense and visceral reaction to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery and an attempt to honor an unknowable number of victims; process outrage and desperation; and channel remarkable resilience.
"The Unheard Mixtapes," commissioned by Metropolis Ensemble, will be unveiled in five parts over five months.
