Cityscapes is the first full-length album from the New York City-based, eclectic powerhouse band ShoutHouse. ShoutHouse is a collaboration between more than 25 artists, including four composers, five rappers, three jazz soloists, and more than a dozen classical musicians. Each track on Cityscapes reflects on a different time, space, or story in New York's history. Running in chronological order from the first track "Mannahatta" to the last track "Rebuild", Cityscapes is a journey from New York's prehistoric roots to its imagined future. The project is directed by composer Will Healy, who also composed the majority of the tracks on the album.
