On December 14th, composer Angelica Negron will screen a new film, GUAVA, directed by Claudia Calderon. A drag performance, entitled “Other Tasty Fruits” will follow the screening, featuring performances by Untitled Queen, Magnify, La Zavaleta, Essa Noche, and Xana Whoria. The screening of GUAVA is free to attend, but “Other Tasty Fruits” requires the purchase of a ticket. Negron’s The Blue Hour, with A Far Cry, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Caroline Shaw, Shara Nova, and Rachel Grimes, was released on New Amsterdam Records in 2022. Recently, Negron’s “You Were My Age” was released as part of Adam Tendler’s Inheritances.
