On November 16th, the LA Philharmonic will present “Noon to Midnight,” curated by Ellen Reid, featuring Angelica Negron, Mingjia Chen, Ted Hearne, and Wild Up. New Amsterdam Records released Reid’s Big Majestic in 2024, Negron’s The Blue Hour- with Sarah Kirkland Snider, Caroline Shaw, Rachel Grimes, and Shara Nova- in 2022, Mingjia’s star, star in 2023, and Hearne’s Place in 2020.
